The Historical movie Ponniyin Selvan Part-1 was released on 30th September 2022. This movie hits More than 500 Crores Boxoffice. The cast of this movie are Karthi, Vikram, Jeyam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai, Parthiban, Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lakshmi, and more, Directed by Mani Ratnam produced by Lyca Production. This Was the dream project for Mani Ratnam. This Movie got a Huge Response from the public audience.

Karthi-Trisha combination scenes, Parthipan’s personality, and Sarath Kumar’s innocence set a great stage for all the characters. The second part of the film is about to be released on Apr 28, 2023. It is reported the film crew and Mani Ratnam are planning to re-release  Ponniyin selvan part-1 on April 21 2023 in some theatres.
